a classic copyright violation

In The School of Athens by Raffaello, all of the figures completely represent Raffaello's elegance, balance and harmony. all except one: the thinker who is right in front of the viewers. it was actually Michelangelo's creation.

At that time, Raffaello and Michelangelo were both working on Pope's projects, Raffaello for the studying room, Michelangelo for Sistine ceiling.

Michelangelo won't let people watch his work when he was working; and he also locked the door when he was away. but the Pope had the key too. one day, he took Raffaello into the ceiling room. and then.....the great artist took what he want...... and then place it right in the middle of his own master work....imagine when fiery Michelangelo saw it......

But Michelangelo probably never know about this prank...coz he was that kind of man who wouldn't look at anywhere else other than his own mind.

love them both.
