Jacky: You are crazy you know that! LOL i can't believe you went all the way to Pilly for a flower show..I hope you had fun.
=========
I did.
The Trip:

I didn't know there are indeed so many people taking trains back and force. fun. the train was all fully packed.
I like Amtrak staff's hats.
I was not early nor late, always catch the last minute for boarding, outbound and return.
Taking trains to Philly. Bus Back to DC.
The Philadelphia:
I like this city. It is a proud city. I feel that everywhere. Like an old lion king. i was thinking if there was no DC, this city might have had becoming US's capital. After the flower show, I decided to hop on bus tour. Saw a young guy wearing a funny big hat around Hard Rock Cafe (which has the second biggest Guitar in the world...dunno know i should feel being amazed or humored....humored maybe). it turned out he was the tour guy. and the tour guide on the bus was his brother.
not sure about that but i think they speak with Philly accent?... They speak so fast with some type of accent..people in Philly has a different kind of characterful kindness..pretty unique, i think. likable for sure.
The City:
why so many statues...almost like this city is obsessed with statues, why?....
maybe people lives here like to memorize things and honoring human figures..or maybe because they are extremely proud people..
this city is a proud city.
anyway, it didn't take me long to like this town.
The Flower show:

it was ok. a bit smaller than i thought it would be.
but this year's theme is Hawaii. so it is understandable..
The site-seeing:
the guide talks so fast and he said too many names. i doubt i remember much.
from a quick glance..

I like the door on the Art Museum's side wall. It should have been a big entrance of something, but now been tightly sealed. why is that. what it used to be? there are some letters engraved on the arch. intriguing.
many old fashion and interesting buildings. one old bridge. the statues's style and building style are pretty varies.

i was wondering why US forefathers picked up so many Roman and Greek styles for this new land's architectural at some point of the time..has something to do with their freemasonry, maybe.
there should be a lots to see in depth for this city. But i had to leave at 4:20, otherwise i would end up to sleep on the street. so next time ba.
some photos for the city
a few from the flower show.
TBC...probably.
